Video and Social Media – Alex Frank

I’m Alex Frank and I thought it’d be fun to take over the social and video lives of FCP.  Personally I really like balloons, neutral t-shirts and bad Photoshop edits, and I hate when the sun gets in my eyes.

Professionally I’m a writer, videographer and editor and I can make the best damn espresso you’ve ever tasted.  I’m producing most of the videos and social content you catch online so blow your wig for some cool stuff to come.

Just know that I’m here now, kicking it online, making sure you enjoy what your looking at. If you’re not, email me at alex.frank@fcpgroton.com or hit me up on Twitter @AlexFrankHD

Creative Director – Jessica Bauer

Jessica Bauer FCP Groton Creative DirectorMy name’s Jessica Bauer (yes, the sister of President Nick Bauer).  I am the Creative Director at FCP; my work includes designing visually attractive interfaces and web pages (with the help of Denis of course), defining the FCP brand visual language, creating marketing and advertising materials, and pretty much anything else related to shaping the creative direction of the company.

I came aboard at FCP about 2 1/2 years ago in a totally unrelated field – I spent my first two years working as the Human Resources Manager.  During that time I pursued some design work on the side, i.e.: creating flyers, catalogs, business cards, web banners etc., which ultimately led me to my current position.  Prior to coming to FCP I was up in Boston for a while, which I am proud to say makes me the only Bauer that is a Sox fan.  I went to Boston University where I studied Painting and Art History.  After graduating I began working for Citizen Schools, an after-school program that focuses on expanding the learning day for children in low-income communities across the country. I left Citizen Schools (and Boston) to come to FCP and I have to say, it’s been a pretty exciting couple years thus far.

Outside of work, I like to get out of dodge for the weekends and visit friends in NYC and Boston.  I  also continue to pursue my own artwork on the side, which is currently mostly painting, drawing and printmaking.

Photographer – Anthony Staffieri

Hi,  my name is Anthony Staffieri and I am the product photographer for FCP Groton.   I’ve been with FCP for two years,  starting out on a part time basis working in the warehouse picking parts and packing boxes.  I have since come aboard full time in August 2010 and have taken on a bigger role helping with the development of the new FCP Euro & Import websites.  My main focus as product photographer is to work with the catalog team and continuously add new images and update old images to the FCP websites.  Whether its taking pictures of nuts and bolts or comprehensive kits I find photography exciting and challenging at the same time.  Coming from a culinary background as a chef, I like to use my creative skills and apply them to help market our products.  I continue to learn on the job and also plan on pursuing my education in photography further within the near future.  Aside from work I enjoy being on my boat in the summer, relaxing and having a good time with friends and family.
